It is the lagoon on the wing of the Carina, the cliffs of Webb's photographs, the diffuse molecular clouds of the universe, the dusty emission nebulae. And looking beyond it, the jewels at the edge of the Carina, the jewels in the eyes of the southern sky watchers, the young blue stars radiating unbridled energy. And so, we opened the keyhole to the beautiful jewel. The dust was dark ribbon, and behind it, soft red velvet cloth.
