Galaxies in the process of colliding and merging with each other.
A pair in the initial stage of interaction.
Located at a distance of about 68 million light years.
The diameter of NGC 4567 is about 65,000 light years, angular size 3.1'x2.2'.
The diameter of NGC 4568 is about 91,000 light years, angular size 4.6'x2.1'.
