Definitely not... and I typed in the name, both M8 and Lagoon... I have no idea where this came from )

although... maybe I copied the equipment details from M27 and didn't notice that the title got copied too, thanks for pointing it out ) Otherwise, I wouldn't have noticed.

Hello!!! I'm asking about OnStep. I also have OnStep v5 for an EQ3-2, but the maximum exposure I can do with it is 10 seconds. If I set it longer, the stars stretch into trails with my Canon EOS 7D and Celestron AstroMaster 130. I set everything up very precisely. Do you know what the problem might be?

If there is no guiding, it's most likely that the polar axis is not aligned precisely, or there is something with the mechanics. The polar alignment needs to be set very accurately, but even then, without guiding, the exposures will be at most 20–30 seconds.

And what do you use to control OnStep?

On the laptop, N.I.N.A. + PHD2 control the entire setup.
