And some people for some reason think the ApoLar is a piece of crap as an astrograph. I'd love to dunk their heads in their own feces right now.

Well, for photography, the only thing I'm missing is the infrared range, where it doesn't focus, being optimized for visual use. Otherwise, if it's well collimated, it's quite good, with an almost flat field. Of course, it can't compete with a dedicated astrograph, but you can't call it unsuitable for photography.
