I think it needs to be darker and with less noise reduction. More noise is better than smearing. That way it will look sharper and more natural. And with this level of light pollution, it's probably better to shoot emission nebulae already.

Thanks for the feedback! I tried making it darker, but then the dust disappears, which is exactly what the shooting time was spent on. So I decided to leave the background brighter. I'll take the noise reduction into account, I'll be more careful next time. And yes, light pollution is definitely not my friend!
