Processing of raw data obtained by the members of the Orion astronomical community at their Amateur Robotic Astronomical Observatory with remote control—the OpenScope project.
Commissioning took place in December 2020. Since the start of construction, the observatory has been operating during clear nights, with ongoing equipment debugging.
The concept of this project is a remote telescope that can be controlled from anywhere with internet access. Similar projects certainly exist, but it's important to understand the difference in budgets. No ready-made observatory solutions were used here. After debugging all systems and commissioning the telescope, it is intended that control will be made open.
The galaxy looks good, but the stars are not pleasing at all: they are stretched, with a flat profile, and completely lack color...
Try to separate the stars from the galaxy and work on them separately.
