My deepest respects, but I prefer hydrogen. Did you apply it without a mask? I wanted to add more hydrogen, but then the entire frame got a reddish tint. I'm not yet skilled in mask editing and don't know how to achieve that idea yet. Maybe it will turn out like yours.

I’m not sure why the mask is there. To prevent the frame from turning red, continuum subtraction is done. I’m not sure if this is correct, but I did it like this: I subtracted red from hydrogen with a coefficient adjusted by eye. Then I stretched the hydrogen and mixed it into the red after stretching. I did the same with oxygen.

I followed a YouTube video from the PixInsight channel where they processed M101. I merged the hydrogen with the red channel in the RGB image, so to speak. Then I applied Linear Fit.
