The image lacks sharpness and is out of focus. Also, during processing, you should try to remove the chromatic halos around the stars.

It seems the issue isn't with the focus, but rather with lens pinching or misalignment.

Factory Selectron... how could the lens be misaligned there? Only if it was deliberately installed crooked during assembly. Although, judging by the fact that the star spots are clearly triangular in shape, it might indeed be that the lens is slightly askew.
